Here is nice Afrikaans band – Disselboom. Its not upbeat music more alternative but very nice.
Rammstein – German
Bjork – Icelandic (Gling Glo album only)
Some of the Scandinavian bands usually have one or more songs on their albums that are in their native language, but the album will be mostly in English.
The Gathering (one of their albums, don’t remember which one) has a couple of songs in Dutch.
Stefan Eicher – French (haven’t heard his music, but know of him from other sources)
There are plenty of bands like this, you’ll just have to seek them out.
