I just got an aquarium about 7 hours ago and put the fish in as instructed. How long until I know if the fish will/are doing good enough, to add more fish? How long should I wait to make sure the conditions are good?
How long until you know your fish in your new aquarium will survive?

1 to 2 weeks at least
when you buy a new tank or fish, you should fill the tank with luck warm water, and leave the fish in its bag it comes in, and put it in the water, and it will be flooding, of course. And after 24 hours the fish will get used to the new water, and you can let him out of the bag. It doesn’t matter when you add fish, but when adding other fishes to that one fish, you must always research was fishes can be together and which fishes can not or they will eat each other. Just research about fishes. Good luck <3 hope i helped. Also, buy a Plecostomus aka "Bottom-Feeder." they are great to have.
Yes 1-2 at least I would say more like 4ish. Do you have a water test kit so you don’t have to put them in and pray??
i just got a tank with fish a couple of week ago i have a puffer fish 2 swordtails and an algae eater they were somewhat curious and scared the algae eater hid in the log and the swordtail wouldn’t eat for a couple of days like 3 or 4 days. then my puffer fish did the same thing so about a couple of days to a week at the most mine are fine and are doing good my swordtail is even pregnant so i hope this helps.
WHy didn’t you cycle it first?
