I’ve been following the conflict between Israel and the Palestinians in the media all my life now, and the one question I’ve never received an answer to is, "what kind of future vision do the Palestinians actually have for themselves?" What are their aspirations? What do they want? All of Israel back, and the jews out, or just be part of Israel as full citizens, or leave the region altogether, or what?
Can someone illuminate this for me?
Thanks.
What is the Palestinian vision of their ideal future?

The problem is that there are two political visions now and the chances of reaching a peace settlement now is bleak. The PLO and Hamas will not reconcile.
In truth, the only right to that land Israel has is America’s power.
i think this question has many different answers. the people will give you different answers and their elected officials will give you different answers.
they have no vision. If they had, they would have been building infrastructure and create a decent living for themselves. Instead, their only goal is to push Israel into the sea.
Pretty much they want everything or nothing. They don’t value human life, it seems, and ready to fight until death. A very stupid thing to do. Just as long they can blame the Israelis for their misery, they are good to go.
They want Palestine back
They don’t have any except dead Israeli’s. Or those in control in Palestinian territory anyway.
It depends on the Palestinian you ask. Some of the more extremists (eg, Hamas) want all the land and the Jews kicked out. I would have to agree with Natalie on this one-these groups seem to define themselves by their hate and would rather coax their children to become martyrs and their young women to tie bombs to their pregnant bellies than to look forward to a peaceful, prosperous future. There are others, more moderates, who are just sick of the fighting and want peace and autonomy. More moderate ones will settle for a two-state deal. There are all kinds of views in between-a one state deal with both populations living democratically, exc. Yasser Arafat famously walked out of a two-state deal with Israel ceding a completely autonomous Gaza, East Jerusalem, and West Bank over an issue of the right of return.
Peace
They just want their country back. They are tired of illegal immigration. They are tired of feeling like the government in charge is not listening to them. They are tired of loosing everything they work so hard for to people who have no right to it. They are racists and detest the idea of women’s rights.
Wow, I almost forgot I was talking about Palestinians.

There is more than one vision, Palestinians are individuals
