I just found out one of my good friends is going to have some major surgery on her intestines (remove a lot of it), She also may have colon cancer….
Her surgery is in less than a month. What is a thoughtful gift to get her?

Hello there. I’m sorry to hear about your friend. Send my best wishes. On this topic though, I suggest just being there for your friend. Make these last few weeks before the surgery, the best weeks ever! Hang out a lot and just be there for her! If you want to get her anything, go shopping with her and have her pick something out special. Before the surgery, buy her a card and some flowers. Those will help put some cheer to her day. I think that will help.

Hang out with her alot ! take lots of pictures, then make a photo album of all the fun times youve had. With your favourite photo make a photoframe. Something handmade would be really good because it gives her something to be happy about and will show her how much you care. When shes feeling bad she can look through it, decorate the photos with frames youve made, make it look really nice, you caould use a sketch book instead of a photo album and around the pictures draw all her favourite things. You could also buy her some flowers or something to go with it.
