My Dad and Uncles used to make them when I was younger but through the years the recipe was lost as the family passed away. In my younger years I wasn’t too interested in this type of thing, but now that I am older I sure do miss the old family recipes. They tasted just like the vlasic brand spicy dills. Does anybody know where I can get the recipe?

Vlasic probably guards the recipe very carefully. I doubt it is published.
You could write them and ask – all they can do is say no.
Maybe someone has "cracked the code" – try an internet search for pickle recipes.
