these people are said to be die hards, through thick & thin, yeah right they are a bunch of bandwagoners, why did they not all stay in their seats even throughout tonights butt kicking?
what a bunch of fakes!
Why did Red Sox nation start leaving the game during the 6th inning?

I’ve answered this a few times.
It is a playoff game, a lot of true fans are unable to get, or cannot afford the tickets, therefore, they become a "social status" and people who are not necessarily "true" fans get the tickets….and leave early when it isn’t what they expected. It happens.
I saw it at the NLDS game at Wrigley. I was disgusted
no, actually you probably would have left. Wouldn’t you get bored??
do you play any sports?? if you do, than has your team every been losing by so much that no one was in the mood to play anymore?? You were probably bored just sitting there. Well that’s how it is watching games.
True fans will stay until the end. You see the true face od the Red Sox fans in this games.
Could it be the fact the red sox are getin eaten alive, like the turkey during thanksgiving?
not all fans are die hards obviously
i dont care any normal fans would leave if your teams is losing by 8,9 runs. but those who stayed are die hard fans.
what a bunch of fakes? when did every red sox fan sign on to a contract that says we have to stay and watch every inning of every game? I must have missed the memo…Did you not see that even though they were getting beat by 10 runs, almost all of them stayed? When your team is down by a lot, does every signle one of their fans stay?
More like Red Sox neighborhood .
I agree that it’s sad to see so many fans leaving but I can understand at the same time. When you care this much about a team it is almost physically painful to just sit there and watch a pathetic loss like this that just shouldn’t be happening. Would you want to sit there and watch that? I know I wouldn’t. This game is over. I hate to say that until the last out but, come on. There is no 10 run comeback in the sox tonight. They’ll be ready in game five, but its done for tonight, why not leave
Because they are lame. I was talking to someone at work the other night and he actually told me that he is from boston and is a red sox fan but is now a rays fan. how lame, lame, lame, lame
they rushing home to pre order their Rays ALCS champion hats!
from one bandwagon to the next..
I would of stayed cheering to the end… I also would of cheered throughout the whole game. Not like the fans I saw and didn’t hear during tonights game! Guess I’m a true fan, Not one that talks on the cell phone all night long hoping my friends see me on t.v. Not all of us are fakes! Go Sox!!
They left because they aren’t true Red Sox fans. What you can’t see are the hundreds of thousands of true fans watching and yelling at their tv’s in their homes or dorm rooms in my case wondering what the Hell the Rays are doing to us. If i had/paid for those tickets by god i’d stay til they made me leave by force.
I just find it funny to see all those sad faces in the crowd at Fenway & I find it ironic when these same fans trash talk Yankee fans if they leave when game is out of reach & say they ain’t true fans & I guess the show is on the other foot now
and if your team was losing by 9 runs, would have you stayed? No
I can’t believe people actually left, don’t they know that this team pulls that dramatic comeback out of their asses all the time. My friend’s brother stayed for the whole game and all the people around him that stayed were smashed, but they saw the Sox win. Now Beckett needs to pitch well to get them to game 7 but i don’t know he has been shaky as of late. GO SOX!!!!
