I have the AT&T Impression and I’m trying to transfer materials from my computer to my cellphone but whenever I do, something would pop up saying " A socket operation failed because the destination host was down. " What can I possibly do to transfer the materials to my phone ?

If you have a mac then you need to get mobile me it costs like $20 a month or something. But i have no clue about PCs.
