You know how you download apps and delete them and when you sync you see that they are still in your iTunes library? How much space do they take up or are the icons just there?

Well it doesn’t take up much Space the icons are just JPEG images (and not the whole app). Usually JPEG images take less than 20kb space and since it is that small it should only take 1-5kb max.
The library is just a list. Each song takes about as many bytes as the entry for it has characters.
