How come when I do light weights it hurts my muscles more than when I do heavy weights?

When I lift light weights my muscles hurt more and it takes a longer amount of time to regain my muscles back than when I lift heavy weights. Shouldn’t Heavy weights make your muscles hurt more than light weights?? I do about the same set but different reps though.

I am 14 years old and I love figure skating. I watch it when ever it is on tv and know so much about it. I really want to start figure skating lessons but is it too late too? I’m flexiable and would work really hard but most people start when they are young. I’m not sure if I want to compete or anything. I will probabley just skate for fun. Is it too late for me to start figure skating?

When and how did you start potty training your daughter?

My daughter is 21 months and I just bought her her first potty. I kind of think she is too young but I’ve hearf of others starting way earlier! What are some good ideas?? She does ”occasionally” tell me when she has poop but after she has done it and when I sit her on the potty she cries or just loves to take it apart and play with it. Any ideas. Thanks!

What happens when you wash your hands when they are tired?

when i was small, my parents told me to never wash my hands when my hands were tired (video games, basketball, etc) or my hands will start shaking when im older. is this true or false? i heard thers this thing that most likely happens to people which causes them for their hands to shake and they cant control it, like old people

How do you know when a Yamaha Banshee is about to blow up?

Just wondering when it’s about to blow. I know they recommend rebuilding them every year. I recently bought a 99 and it is in excellent shape. Just curious and want to make sure when you know it is about to blow, like any noises or anything. I hear something, but I think it is the engine vibration. When I get going it runs great, it is mainly when it is idling or in neutral when I rev it up, so it might be vibration.

When listening to ATC on liveatc.net i’ve heard a few times when a pilot does something wrong or when they disagree with something, the controller will give them a number to call. What happens when you call them, do they talk and clear up the situation or are you in some kind of "trouble"?

What does it mean when your car makes a loud screeching noise right when you start it?

A couple of weeks ago my car made this terrible loud screeching sound right when I turned it on. I immediately turned the engine off and when I turned it back on a minute later the sound was gone and my car ran normally. I decided it had something to do with the fact that it was raining and somehow water had gotten in somewhere it wasn’t supposed to.

But then last night when I turned my car on it made the same loud screeching sound again. And when I turned off the engine and restarted it everything was fine.

Does anybody have any idea what the problem might be?

When is a good time to start planting my garden in MN?

My kids want to have a small garden this year. Partial food and partial plants. They want pumpkins, corn, carrots and sunflowers. When is a good time to start planting that garden? I was thinking of planting the seeds in cups inside earlier on and then transplanting them outside when the weather gets better. When should I start planting in cups inside? Thanks!
